Intel Core i5-6600K
The latest quad-core processor from the Skylake range (Tock), the sixth generation of Intel processors, brings many new technologies and increased performance. It also introduces support for the high-speed DDR4 memory standard, and features integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 with support for DirectX 12 as well as the new Z170 Express chipset. The processor is a great choice if you want high performance for demanding tasks, multitasking or playing the most demanding games.
Great Choice for Demanding Users
The Skylake architecture is based on the 14nm manufacturing process, which guarantees a good consumption/performance ratio. The Intel Core i5-6600K is clocked at 3.5 GHz and is intended for the new socket Socket 1151. The time-tested Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, will boost the frequency up to 3.9 GHz whenever necessary, allowing the cores to exceed their base clock speed. The fast 6MB L3 cache ensures instant data access and immediate response in all applications. In addition, models with the K designation have an unlocked multiplier for easy overclocking.
