The Austrian company Noctua is the obvious choice for all demanding customers looking for the highest quality among CPU coolers. The latest addition to this category bears the name Noctua NH-L9x65 and is directly designed for installation in space-constrained conditions.

The ideal cooler for Mini ITX boards and small cases

The cooler has a platform of only 95 x 95mm in height and even fits below 65mm with a fan. Compared to an ordinary radiator it is equipped with special heatpipe tubes that intersect an aluminum ribbing several times. The actual ribs are only 0.4mm thick and have a classic heatpipe diameter of 6mm. The cooler itself is very solid and ensures rapid heat dissipation. The used NF-A9x14 PWM fan has a size of 92mm but is thin, less than 15mm. Vibrations are absorbed by the cleverly positioned rubber pads. The fan speed is mostly directed by the motherboard, but eventually you can use the supplied reduction and lock the 1800 revolutions.
