Compared to the G102, I like this mouse better except for the "unfriendly" ergonomic design. If it wasn't on sale, I wouldn't have bought either of these two (m300s vs. G102) but any mouse with a Pixart 3327 sensor.
Compared to my previous mouse Logitech G102, this mouse is absolutely identical with the difference that it cost less than half of what the G102 (bought on sale for 300)
Unlike the G102, this mouse has a braided cable so well that you don't even know it when playing. With the G102, after 2 years of use, the unbraided cable got so twisted that the mouse could no longer be used.
Changing the DPI from the bottom of the mouse is better because I won't accidentally hit it.
The mouse wheel is better for playing Apex Legends than the G102 because it clicks multiple times in the same long turn (perfect for tap-strafing, wall bounce, etc. )
Easier to search/install an application than with the G102. Logitech has more apps and the better/older ones are hard to find.
Better slides than the G102 (G102 has poteflonovane, which I have in 2 years of use so worn down that the mouse was unusable and I had to replace them, replacement slides on the mouse can not be purchased anywhere, so it's do it yourself. )
The mouse is not as comfortable in the hand as the G102, thanks to its narrower sides. I hope it's something you can get used to.
The overall design of the mouse is worse than the G102, the main buttons are too long and therefore they are pressed by mistake.
