I had the idea that I could read the vehicle' s license plate on the camera from a distance of 10 to 15 meters. My experience is this:
I placed the camera 3 meters from the feeder. Result? The squirrel in the feeder looks like a rabbit in the video.
I have the same result with the TP-Link Tapo C520WS camera

For the price you can't take away any stars even if the camera has some cons
24/7 recording to SD card up to 512GB or detection only or both on schedule
relatively short source cable due to the fact that the camera will be placed at height and it is assumed that in house conditions someone will want to connect it to the liabilities, rather near the ground. But nothing terrible, about 2.5m
Unfortunately, vehicle detection is evaluated even for static vehicles at the lowest sensitivity, which is undesirable (e.g. when monitoring your parked car to see if someone else has damaged it with their car)
At 30m it's hard to read the license plate at all.

We needed to find out which way the marten was coming. After setting up the camera - about 5 minutes and placing it outside, it was enough to set the off-tracking zones through the app and then wait. Zones are white coloured rectangles that enable tracking. So if I want to drain the middle space, I have to make 4 rectangles around it. The auto pinning of the horns doesn't work, so it's more about patience. I did it on Foldu5, I can't imagine this setup on a small phone. But the result came and we found the pieces. Uploading is to SD card or to the cloud, which is free for a month. Overall I was pleasantly surprised, it's worth the price.
