Bought for testing, so far a rather positive opinion prevails. it' s just that it will be a colder week on purpose, so I won' t try it in the summer heat. I will see within 14 days if it will stay or if it will be replaced by a larger and more expensive model without smart functions, but probably yes.
In size, something between the classic " table" and " stand"
Basically 2x4 main gears in total. Classic can be set with buttons to 1. 4 degrees and 2. 4 degrees are like natural breeze or 0-100% in the application. Natural breeze then simulates the wind according to some algorithm.
Lateral rotation adjustable manually or automatically by 30, 60, 90, 120 or 140°
Annoying beeps or even LEDs can be switched off
Cable through the base and leg (slight modification of the 5.5mm DC jack - 12V DC, the power source is in the base). But it remembers the settings even after disconnecting from the network (you just need to turn it on with a button or in the application, or just turn on the application to set the angle of rotation).
In the app, strangely, it only wants location and notification permissions (but I only have this fan from xiaomi.
It strangely only communicates on de.api.io.mi.com and de.io.mi.com. I have Chinese disabled on the unifi dream machine and it didn' t even try.
Quiet! I will definitely be able to sleep with it in a natural breeze at about 75% or classically at about 60%.
The stand is not light (it contains the power supply), but it could be more.

Quiet (the information given in the description on Alpa' s website is correct, but it is the maximum noise level at full power, which is unfortunately not stated here. On the manufacturer' s website, the noise parameter is stated: *Minimum operating noise 30.2 dB(A): The data comes from China Household Electrical Equipment Testing and Inspection Institute (CHEARI). A noise level of 30.2 dB(A) was measured in natural breeze mode at speed 1 without turning the fan head. Message No: WS1-20-069. I can confirm this by feeling. It is almost inaudible in the 0-50% rpm range. at full power you already know about it, but nothing distracting that you can' t work or watch TV with.
easy to assemble, functional and usable application
