Modern high-performance, reliable memory modules, DDR2 Fully Buffered DIMMs designed primarily for server use. Total capacity is 2 GB. They are designed for advanced performance systems, servers, and multiprocessor computers. These memory modules are tested in extreme conditions for continuous operation, thanks to achieve maximum reliability and stability.

Fully Buffered memory modules work like registered memory, but are based on fast serial architecture. The module is a separate circuit AMB - Advanced Memory Buffer, which controls access to individual memory modules and facilitates the work of the memory controller on the motherboard or processor. Individual memory modules are connected through the series circuit to an external memory controller and possibly other modules gradually. Memory outwardly behaves as a single chip, which handles the registration and the reading of each memory cell controller to transmit a result of these operations.This increases the efficiency of memory access and speed of processing and using more memory modules simultaneously. In addition, significantly simplifies the design of the memory controller on board, dramatically reducing the number of pins on the DIMM module can easily be fitted with much larger amounts of memory. Some server boards require Fully Buffered memory.

ECC technology monitors transparently and in real time the integrity of data stored in memory. Thus you find and correct the error in one bit and detect errors in two bits. Some memory controllers are capable of co-operation with ECC memory repair the errors of greater magnitude. Most server boards require ECC memory support.
